Our experience with medium-large formats - started in 2012 with the purchase of a Nova Sidera “Vega” lathe with teach-and-playback system for turning discs up to 2 meters - has continued towards increasingly important dimensions: in 2017 we installed a special lathe which can deform discs up to 5 meters in diameter and thicknesses of 12 mm.
Today, with the BRM 2600 special lathe for sizes up to 5 meters, we can satisfy requests coming from peculiar industries that we could fulfil only in part using our "ordinary" equipment, such as aeronautics and aerospace: areas that require, among other things, the processing special alloys sheets, often supplied by the customers themselves.
The processes that we can operate through this machine require important support equipment, starting from the one required for making the moulds up to the equipment needed to move them, like our new 10 Ton bridge crane.
